2 Months...

Carlos, you are 2 months old!

I can't believe it!

You are growing so fast!

Today at your 2 month check up you were...

12lbs 14oz

23.5 in

You are starting to fill up and grow out of some of your 0-3 month clothes.

You just started wearing size 2 diapers (mostly because we have size 2's and were afraid that you wouldn't finish another package of 1's if we bought them).

Over the last month you have had a lot of firsts...

you slept through went to your first outdoor concert

 You went to your first softball game to cheer daddy on.

(I was so hot, we ended up stripping you naked...you loved it!)

You had your first trip to the park with your cousins.

 You took a nap with your brother!

 Had your first trip to the lake.

You went to the beach for a little while, but spent most of your time in Gram and Grandpa's camper.

You got a play mat, and enjoy playing on it...most of the time

 You wore your first pair of cowboy boots :)

You have just about grown out of your bassinet.

We've put the monitor in your "big boy room" and will probably start sleeping there tonight.

(If mommy can handle it!)
Updated: You slept there for the first time last night and did great.
Mommy survived too :)

You also traveled to 2 new states:

New Mexico & Colorado.

Saw the mountains, elk and snow for the first time...

don't worry, you'll enjoy it more next year!

You also learned a new trick...

You are smiling and cooing at us.
I especially love your smiles when you are done eating...
you are relaxed and sleepy, and if I kiss your forehead or the sweet little spot beside your nose, you give the goofiest grin that melts a mommy's heart!

You have been very busy this month!

Bug and Ace are having the best time with you too,
and are still thrilled to have you around...

We love you so much, 

and can't wait to see what this next month holds!

Well, this should be the last of the Vaca. lore.

I was finally able to download Ace's SD card and now know why he kept running out of batteries...he took about 200 pics!

OK, so I know you guys are probably sick of vaca stories and pics.

But...

I mentioned in an earlier post that we gave each of the big kids and old digital camera.  It was a great idea, and except for Ace running his out of batteries every day, gave them something constructive to do...and they took their photography very seriously.

Tonight I got ahold of Bugs SD card and thought I'd share...
