Somebody turned 6.
It was surreal.
I'm not old enough to have a 6 y.o., you see.
She was proud.
Bug decided that she wanted to opt out of a big bday ordeal in trade for a trip to the
American Girl Store.
So, we had a small family get together the weekend before the big day to celebrate.
Except, there's nothing really small about our family.
But, we had a great time!!
On her actual bday, we picked Bug up from school and headed out to the American Girl store!
Let me tell all of you who have never had the privilege...
it's pretty overwhelming!
Bug stayed focused though.
She picked out her doll with no fuss at all,
then set off to accessorize!

And now, meet Aisley...
I won't even try to explain how "Aisley" was named,
I'll just say it was a long process.
The guys were thrilled to follow up doll shopping with a trip to the Bistro!
Where we ate dainty little food!
Bug was thrilled with her bday trip.
It was a fun family day!
And, of course, Ace just wanted to know when his bday was...
so we could go back to the "Merican Doll Store" again :)
Happy bday Bug!
I can't believe how grown up and beautiful you've become in what seems like a flash!
